Mostly post on the Shark Fishin' web page ... but tonight I was watchin' the Outdoor Life Network and they had a half hour show on hog hunting in Texas. Someplace called the "Nail Ranch." Never heard of it, but seeing the cactus and mesquite trees sure did get me thinkin' about hunting season. Mailed the check for the lease, bought some new feeders .... and all ready to go.

Not sure what the point of this post is, except to say ... I sure can't wait to smell the clean air and be sitting at camp again!

I'm just ready to get the guns out again. Was looking today at the dates for dove and teal. Almost time! Gets me a bit excited.....

I believe the Nail Ranch is up by Albany. I think. There have been some nice deer taken up there in the past.

You are correct. The Nail is close to Albany. I have a few friends that are on their Ranch Rodeo team. There are some good deer up there.

Ross is right. It is close to Albany. Actually just north of town. There are some nice deer there. We run our trophy hunts on some adjoining property.

Ross, I've seen them in action at the Ranch Rodeo in Abilene. That is THE place to go if you like anything Western or ranchy. It's always a good time. Horses, cowboys and horses....and buckle bunnies. LOL
