Our bay system is nothing short of dangerous right now. After visiting Harborwalk and Bayou Vista on Monday, I can't imagine how much "stuff" is littered throughout those waters. Channel markers are missing and/or moved, objects are floating everywhere and who knows how much stuff is resting on the bottom.

I know it's tough to not be able to see your property, but please be careful.

Ran with a neighbor (2 boats)yesterday to Jamaica Beach. PM me and I'll give you boat ramp info. I hit something under water in the main part of West bay and did some damage to my lower unit and had to leave it at Terramar. If you are going to go I would recommend a boat that runs skinny and buddy up with someone. Take your time and keep your eyes open. Jamaica Beach main canal area is a mess. I have a bunch of pics of houses on the main canal if any of you guys have a house there I can email to you. If any of you guys are headed to Terramar PM me. I need to ask someone to leave a note on my boat.

Mark...don't know if you are a member on the board or not but thanks again for the lift from Terramar to JB. I'm sure we will meet up again after the storm and I can get the rod/reels I accidentally left on your boat.

Older homes were pretty torn up. the ground floors of houses were demo'd but the main floor and up appeared to be ok. Newer construction seemed to fair far better than old. Saw the roof of what appeared to be a ford explorer that had rolled in and sunk in the canal. Sea Isle looked the same.
