Hit the pocket today and had a slow start with only about 3 hits and one hand size jack untill about 10 o clock when all heck broke lose. Everyone around me started catching fish but I couldn't buy a bite untill I switched over to a gold spoon. Ended up with 3 keepers 1 16" and 2 18" and pulled lose 5 or 6 other solid fish. The action ended around 11:30. All hits came while letting the spoon fall to the bottom while casting to the larger scools of bait fish. I was supprised at how slow the action was considering the conditions. I guess the wall of people weren't letting the trout come in.
