The cover I have on my Whaler Montauk has finally bit the dust after 10 years of exposure to rain and sunlight. I don't know what brand it was as it came with the used boat and had no label.

I'm looking for suggestions for a replacement. The cover will be for storage, and not trailering. The one I had used a rope around the complete perimeter like a drawstring, as well as having sewn in tie down loops to rope it to the trailer. Also had some reinforcement patches in the corners, and padding over the motor cowl. I'd like to get one with similar features. So who makes a good durable cover? Durability is more important to me than cheap.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Wm. J. Mills made the OEM canvas for Whaler and still has the patterns for older designs. They are without a doubt, the "best." Cabela's has covers specifically for the Montauk and they are pretty good--plus you cannot beat their warranty and customer service.
