I am in the process of designing a boat shed and thought I should build it with a bigger boat in mind(currently I run a 21 footer). I would appreciate it if you guys out there with boats 24-27 feet long share the dimensions required for your rigs on the trailer (height and length especially). Please specify boat model and if you are including a radar dome. Also, if you know where good plans can be had, I'm all ears. Thanks in advance!

14' tall an 12' wide door !!

concret floor hang 4 sets of lights at 10' off ground on the walls (above the boat with a T-Top is a waste)... put a drain slope the floor to it!

make it twice as long and as wide as you think you might need.
You can't have too much storage and at some point you want to work on it, both require room.
Drain, 200 amp power, lights and more lights, water.

I stored my boat for a while in a shed that had a 12X12 foot door. The inside was 14X40. The storage shed was about the right size for my 25'5" LOA boat and trailer. I don't know how high it was on the inside but there was at least 2 additional feet up there and the 12 foot door easily cleared the hardtop. You can put bigger boats than mine in a 14X40 shed but if you like walk around room for doing trailer and boat maintenance, you need the extra space.
