Hello all,
I posted this on THT too and got a recommendation. Hope to get a couple more names to check out. I had a fuel leak in my Nauticstar 21-footer. After replacing a broken valve in the fuel line, my mechanic discovered the fuel tank had deformed such that there was another leak at the top of the tank near the gunwale. He said if I filled the tank up near the top, it would leak, and the proper way to fix the problem was to replace the fuel tank. It would require cutting the fiberglass deck to gain access to the fuel tank. Not something he would do. So I've to find a repair shop. My boat is stored on a dry stack in Freeport, TX. I would appreciate if you know of any reliable repair ship in the region and would share its info here.
