I have read that Burnett bay is a good place to catch big black drum in the winter.

Does anybody know this to be fact?

Also I have never fished Burnett bay, does anybody have any suggestions as to what part of it may be better than others for catching large black drum (big uglys)?

I've hooked up to a couple of big uglies in Trinity and Tabbs bay, but never in Burnett. I have had a few limits of trout in Burnett Bay during the winter though on glow-chartreuse drifting under the lines.

I am sure there are some in Burnett...just getcha some fresh blue crab if you can find it and go wet a hook. Good luck.

I live a block off of upper galveston bay and I have caught them there during the summer, but I thought I had read somewhere that in the winter Burnett Bay was the place to catch them.
