i know most people think of mullet as bait but iwas wondering whats the biggest mullet youve ever seen or caught? iwas diggin through old pics and found one with me and a 10 lber.( how can ipost an old pic?) later

I caught one off BlueWater highway in Surfside was that big, thought it was a carp at first. Was a beast. Sure it would've gone 10 lbs.

Back in the 50's i had a uncle in the panhandle of florida who made his living netting mullet, he would split down the belley ,gill an gut them and salt them down in 55 gal drums, had a steady line of customers that came from georgia, ala and fla to buy them. He even saved the roe and salted it down and sold it.
