SCREW THE ENCHILADAS!

Tried El Rincon on Louetta as recommended. Party of six. While the enchiladas were in fact excellent, the service exemplary, the margaritas very tasty......the fried ice cream is to die for. Don't make the mistake of sharing one with the wife. Thanks for the recommendation.

whg...he's my cousin and I've eaten alot of his cookin' over the years.... his BBQ, chili, and hot wings are on the top of my favorite's list.

If ever in Pasadena try Donkeys on Spencer highway. Kick butt margaritas and great chips and hot sauce. Lively atmosphere.
The Roasted Quail at Donkey is fantastic, the Margaritas used to be the best you could find, they are still good, but not what they used to be.

Used to go to a place in Van Vleck when I lived in Bay City. Can't remember the name, just off the main drag on hwy 35. Food was the best. Only had a little sign on the main highway. Most locals just knew by word of mouth. Got closed down for serving horse meat. When they reopened it was never the same! LoL!!

Up around Kingwood there are two that have both great service and tasty food. One is
Rico's on Kingwood Drive and the other is El Ranchero on Bypass 494 at North Park.

Reel -- funny you should mention Loma Linda's. I was channel checking last night and I just happened to catch the owners on Ch. 8 during the fund raising 'break'. Years ago we knew of a Loma Linda's on Griggs(I think anyway) just inside the loop which we really liked but they kinda went downhill. Sounds like this is a different place. Where are they on Telephone -- we're gonna make the drive in the next few days.

Club No Minors

Has anyone had a margarita at club no minors at el patio???

I grew up in houston eating at FELIXS (*Chile Con Queso), el patio, molinas, loma linda, SPANISH VILLAGE, los tios!!!!!!!!

I will second Magnums choice of Lapreferida in El campo. I do not go through Elcampo without stopping there. $1.25 buys a taco that is just plain great. I would spit out a Pappasito's taco for a Lapreferita taco any day. Don't be surprised if you are the only person in the joint that speaks english. My fav is the beef fajita. The mystery meat in the orange grease sauce is good as well. I think it's pork but I'm not sure. The Cabeza (barbacoa for you gringos) is good as well. You can feel your arteries hardening by the second bite.
