between now and then, we are. Myself, hubby, son. I'm still not sure about bringing the grandbaby and daughter in law.. (she's terrified of fish) LOL
Loves sharks, but terrified of fish... go figure.

Should I make jello shots again? LOL

Let me waste a little bandwidth here to state the obvious....IMMIN! I will be down Friday, early afternoon and stay till sometime Sunday afternoon...'bout like last time. As it stands now Miss Pam will be with us during the day on Saturday but at this time she has no plans to participate in the overnight shennanigans.

Kay the jello-shots are gonna feel good goin' down!.

I want this thread to be a near record for number of responses. The beach thang is like this....the more people that turn out, the more fun EVERY one is gonna have. ;)

Hey Jan,
Pam and I would love to join you guys and put more faces with names ... but (there's always one of those dang things) we'll be headed out of state early Sunday, the 13th, for a long fishing trip. Hope you all have a ball ...

Man I thought we were in but we'll be rocking at the CMW pavillion in the Woodlands on the 12th.

I'm sure Jr will hook up with Zach so the BrewCrew will have some representation. We will be at POC though.

Who you gonna be checking, Jeff? Me and my brood(all over 30 years old now, sheesh) are going to see 3 Doors Down, Nickle Back, and Puddle of Mud in July! Rock on!

Hello All!
Yes another newbie to the board here. I was jumping around checking the sites out and came across this shindig y'all got planned.
So what beach is this event gonna be at? My gear and Bronco are ready for some surf running.
As of this last weekend the water south of Port A is muddy and full of grass up to three feet deep.
Lot's of bait though, but no big fish. Too hard to keep baits out due to the high amount of weed in water.

So what is this event all about?

A little about me; Been surf fishing now for about 25+ years, live in Rockport, and I repair rods, reels and make custom inexpensive rods.
Anything to do with surf fishing, I'm there. Been thinking of organizing a
new surf fishing tournament. One that pays more than one place. Not even like the Phoney Surf Cats tourny.
I would like to plan it for late Sept/04 , say $30 a head with 5 places to pay out %100 of all money.
That way no scammin or cheatin' of the money like Surf Cats does.
If any of you are interested please contact me. I have at least 12 people who are already interested for a private tournament in mid August.

To tell you the truth, this is Stargazer's gig!

I haven't seen him yet though so I posted up the sticky to get the conversation going. I think the camp will appear somewhere between Access 5 & 6 on Follet's Island (5-6 miles north of the Surfside Jetty or first access road to the left after you clear the pass and Bright Lite is in your rearview mirror.)

Can someone else chime in here in case I missed the location? Thanks!

At least thats the way they opened the show last time I saw them in about '79. No Gene make-up for me this time but I might have an old KISS ARMY shirt around here somewhere! :rotfl:

I love Zep too Gary. Hard to see them live these days. Would love to see them again! Would really love to see Pink Floyd again too. Maybe someday. My "quote" above was the way the MC always started Kiss shows back in the day. Poisin is the opening act. Should be interesting anyway.

Jeff Jr. Have you gotten the new CDs? How the west was won? Some of those songs were recorded live, at the San Diego Colisium in 1973. Me and a friend, hitch hiked from LA, to SD to try and score some tickets for that show. didnt get any tickets, but we stood outside and could hear them.
