Currently have a Macerator pump hooked to fish box which is a piece of junk. Want to replace it with either another Macerator of better quality or a bait / fish box pump? Anybody have advice as to brand / model or direction to take?

Shurflo

I have a ten year old Shurflo that still works perfectly. It's a little loud, but does the job. It dumps two extra large fishboxes in no time. Some macerators are servicable, so you might want to look for one that is.

Either Jabsco or Shurflo make good macerator pumps. Is it a bait box or fish box?? You will need a macerator for a fish box to grind up the scales and pieces of bait. A bait box pump would stay clogged up in a fish box.
