We had work to do near the galveston ferry so we brought the rods along with us today and it was cold and windy. We had a 30 MPH gust out of the west north west all day so we fished tandom rigs with two 1/4oz jig heads just so we could feel the bait on the bottom but that was almost impossable. We had three different people with three completely different color combos. I caught most of the fish with my brother and my co worker picking up one a piece. We came home with 6 total. Most of them in the 15-18 inch range. This was fishing about every other hour when they took there smoke breaks. The colors we fished plum/chart. red/white my rig. My brother had a chart./fire tail and a pumpkin seed/chart. and my co worker had Texas Roach and Texas red shad. I caught most of my fish on plum/chart. The water today was chocolate milk at best. That is pretty bad for the ship channel.
