I'm curious if anyone shops on Amazon.com? And if so what products have you purchased in say the past 6 months.

I know they sell a bunch of other stuff besides just books and I'm wondering if people purchase other product they seem to also sell.

thanks,

JR

going past 6 months,
I did 90% of my christmas shopping on amazon.com the last two years. I dont recall anything but perfect transactions.
usually when Im looking for something, amazon.com is the first place I go look, both for availability and proper pricing.

Check out the seller, if possible. read reviews on your item, Ive switched items several times after reading about something better on Amz.com...

I've used them a lot. Prices are sometimes cheaper than I can find anywhere else. I do try to check out the seller and try to stay with those products that say it comes straight from Amazon instead of a 3rd party seller.

Since we order frequently we joined their prime membership which gives you free 2nd day shipping instead of free ground shipping. Not sure what else membership provides (that's my husband's thing).

Amazon is often, if not always, just the middleman. Check out the actual seller.
That being said, I just bought a motorcycle helmet through Amazon and had no problems.

We buy stuff from them constantly (couple of times a month for the last 8 years). Books (100s), three high-end digital cameras, memory cards & lenses, blenders, toasters, CDs, DVDs.... just about everything.

Out of the all our transactions, we have had 1 item that was 'flakey' and Amazon promptly replaced it (overnight delivery).

Like Bubbaette, we too opted for their 'Prime' membership. If you place orders frequently, it pays for itself.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Amazon.com - all internet companies should operate this efficiently!!!
