I get conflicting answers regarding consuming fish taken from Galveston area bays...Hannas, Confederate, Chocalate etc are safe after the storm. Does anyone have any links to recent articles? I assume high levels of bacteria are present.

This would be in addition to the BAN on specs and hardheads we already know about.

It's just me and my Yak now that the Everglades 243 burned in the GYB storage. The bays and beachfront are all that are available to me now.

Also kudos to Progressive for a quick and easy settlement of FULL replacement value including TT&L paid plus $2500 of fishing stuff. I highly recommend them.

Just remember all the sewage that spilled and or leaked into the bay system....I would get hard confirmation before consumption. I use Progressive, had a fatality accident with one of our Big Rigs due to driver in-attention....Progressive was great...still use them today.
