A bit of a long video but curious if anyone has put this to action

Think I have tried them all. This is a variation of the PR knot without the bobbin.
This is now my go to knot for casting - tuna, tarpon etc. have used it extensively without failure for 50# braid to 60-80 fluro and 65# braid to 80-100 fluro.

Do not use more than 12 double wraps or you will find it almost impossible to cinch down the first 3-4 wraps - and they must be tight to keep knot strength.
Until you get comfortable, really lock it down tight - and do it at home. Break it if you can. I cannot using hand strength and wooden dowels for grip. Good luck, John

This is my go to knot but you have to be careful and pay attention as to how to tie it. Do it just like the video says - all underneath and over (towards and then away). If you do it otherwise I guarantee it will not work - it gives way. I always test mine afterwards with a 35# weight to ensure I did it properly. If tied properly, I have never had it give way on the 35# test. And yes, it was this same video that I learned it from... I also add a coating of super glue to it (after the 35# test) just to be sure.
