Anybody run a 35 Carolina Classic?

I want to get back into an offshore boat before spring. Been weighing pros and cons of different boats and have it narrowed down to a few. The 35 Carolina Classic keeps rising to the top but I have never actually been on one.
Would anybody in the Galveston / Freeport area happen to have one that I could take a look at.
Also looking at Henriques andAlbemarleWhat is drawing me to the CC is the head sea ride, construction and performance with the Cummins QSC-540

I'm open to any advice or recommendations for other boats in this class.

I think there's one on D dock at GYB, but I don't know who the owner is. I'm thinking of the Express.

My favorite over the years was a Delta 36 sfx in that size range. Liked the layout, headsea ride and most everything about it more than others. Just don't see many of them around.

If that's a quality good riding boat then it's a STEAL at <$40K with Cummins c block power even if it needs some TLC (which it really does).

That is the hull, but recall it holding lot more fuel and the steps were different. That is a great deal for that hull.

Only heard good things about the Carolina 35, maybe snappy on the drift but il take that for the ride.

I heard the same thing but its always going to be a trade off or a compromise. I want a solid boat that can eat up our Gulf chop, good performance and has an some accommodations for overnighters.

Rides good in the gulf chop. Cummins power. I have put a lot of work into this boat for sure. She is turn key, nothing really needed to get out in the gulf.

I think it's weird that the tanks are so small too. It probably has like a 40 mile range.

Daren's boat would be a good one to look at - I know it's well maintained.

And there was a Blackfin 38 Express down in the Corpus area that I saw on Craigslist a few months ago but it's not on there anymore.

We were over there kicking tires yesterday. I forgot the name of the guy who was helping us but he seemed like a good guy.
We might be back next to check out that 29 CC
