I live near Camp Mohawk southwest of Alvin off the 35. I took my wife and dog to Dallas and now she doesn't want to leave any time soon. I'm dying to know if the house is still there. Any reports from that area? I live off Mohawk and am surrounded by 80' trees so reports of trees down or still standing would help.

Sorry, dont have a report for you, but here is a website posted earlier. It has live feeds from 4 different houston news stations with reporters stationed throughout Hou/Galv area. Maybe you can get some idea from them of how your neighborhood did.

My kids live in Alvin area and south at Liverpool. Lots of high wind some blowing water damage and trees down. Power has been out since 11 pm last night and still windy and bad as of now 8:28 Sat AM. Thankful they are all OK .

Alvn---Highway 6 and 35 bypass is underwater. From what I can see on TV the underpass looks around 5 foot deep.

Chocsea stayed in Alvin. Can't speak for the whole town, but he said just street flooding and fences down. No power as per usual today.

I heard from a friend that my house is OK (Camp Mohawk area off the 35 SW of Alvin). We have some trees down but they missed the house. He couldn't see any sign of roof damage, broken windows, or any other signs of problems. I hope everyone else did as well.
