In case you have not heard, G.B. Robertson, of Port O'Connor passed away last week. He worked at Froggie's for many years and was a fixture in Port O'Connor. He was a frequent contributor to the Dolphin Talk and did the Froggie's Bait Dock fishing report for many years. He will be missed. There will be a memorial service held this Saturday, 3/15 11:00 am, at the Port O'Connor Community Center.

When I saw the thread topic, the wife and I started worrying about our neighbor Jimmy Crouch, but it looks like he's still around, lives at the other end of town near the front beach. POC continues to lose old-timers. Earl Smith, who used to fund the July 4 fireworks display, lived on the front beach near Boggy, he's been gone for awhile. And then also Lee Richter, who flew B-26 bombers in WWII France.
