I always respond in this kind of way:
Your apology is totally unacceptable. I have been anticipating this money for quite some time now. Please send it all to me ASAP in denominations of $20-100 US dollar bills. As soon as I get my money that you owe me, I will tell them not to launch the twenty cruise missiles that are currently marked for your country!
