Anybody know where I can get a replacement light pole for an anchor light that has a 3-pin base? Boat is a 2005 Nitro 911 CDC bass boat. Anchor light broke the other day and the base is a 3-pin and everything I can find online is a 2 pin light pole. I bought a replacement light at Academy and just figured that it would work.....well it doesn't and I will return it.

Anybody ever use the Suction cup ones? I ran across them but not sure it will stay on the engine cowling when running.....I don't go 70 mph or anything like that.....just normal 30-40 mph....usually have the kids with me.

Don't really want to mess with changing out the base if I don't have to but I will if necessary. Mind you the anchor light is only needed a couple times a year....we aren't that mad at the bass.

Been using this one for the last few years, really like the no wires and removable. Suction cup for top of motor cowling. Slickest inventions since sliced bread. :texasflag

So the 2nd anchor light I bought works.....one thing I didn't even notice is that it didn't come with the "sleeve" that locks it into place. I still have the bad replacement at the house and will take it off that and take it back up there next weekend. That being said......it was rough as all get out on Fri and Sat and the light didn't seem to mind without the sleeve. Also the "set screw/aligning screw" is higher than the original and is basically useless.....which is fine....just pay attention when you are putting it in. The one issue that this will cause is that it won't hold the "sleeve" on there like my old one did. But I will just have to figure that out. Like I said I had it in all weekend and the lake was very rough fri/sat and the light didn't seem to care.
