Aluminum Boat Repair near Houston

I have an 18x42 aluminum tunnel boat I inherited from my dad. It sat a while and has some issues. I want to figure out if it would be worthwhile to repair or if I should try to sell as a project to someone.

There is a crack in the weld somewhere along the bottom. I am looking for recommendations for a shop near Houston. I would like to have it tested to see where the leak is (boat has a deck so I couldn't tell). Also, if possible I would like to have some spud pole and hand rails/tie-offs welded on. I'm on the west side, but I can take it wherever nearby. I'd rather get it done right than take it to the nearest place.

Boat also needs a new trailer and work on the engine. It may be more $$ than its worth but I want to get some quotes from people to see. I think it has more life left in it.

Engine is a 40 hp merc - 2003 or 2004. Last time I was out, it was not peeing as much water out as it should. I did not run it very long b/c I was nervous of overheating and water was coming in through the crack.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Fill it covering the bottom of the inside with the water hose. Get under it. Have a Red Magic marker. You will see the drops leak from the crack. Circle around it. Take a photo. Ask aluminum welders how much to fix. My son, a master aluminum welder, use to repair aluminum hulls and props. That how he would find a leak. If its too much sell it and get a new boat. Yup if its a used aluminum, put water in it and check for leaks same way.
