Did anyone hear about an accident in Mesquite Bay last week? Read on another board that someone was killed. First post said it was a drowning, then someone said a person fell out of the boat and was hit by a prop.

I haven't seen anything mentioned about it on 2cool.

Yeah, I heard something about that when I was in Rockport last weekend come to think of it. We were at the cleaning table and the guys next to us were talking about someone killed by a prop but I didnt hear where or what happened. Bet it was the same accident.

A buddy of mine literally just told me about that 5 minutes ago! He heard it was in St. Charles Bay? His wife heard it on the news while in Rockport? I think it happened over Memorial Day weekend is what she said because we were fishing that area when THE STORM hit and she was freaking out!

found that on google.... I am sure there is more on there... that was my first search. that is really scary. I love going to Mesquite because it is so far away from everything, unfortunately that comes with its bad side.
