Got a late start yesterday due to having to work graveyard shift Wednesday night due to suckfest beeper call. Met buddy from work and his son at 9:00 am at access road seven. By the time I got in the water they had a dozen trout in the basket with his son accounting for most of catch using shrimp and a popping cork. My buddy and myself threw an assortment of artificials ranging from tops to plastics. They left with eighteen counting the two I donated. The hot colors with the TTK's were salt/pepper with chartruse tail and pumpkinseed with chartruse tail. It was great seeing his son bowed up all morning. We fished till 12:30. Even caught a couple of baby blacktips. Trout were 16 to 18 with the biggest going 20. The highlight of the day was seeing a 4 ft. tarpon jump six foot out of the water chasing a huge mullet about 30 to 40 yards in front of us. Awesome sight. Tight lines to everyone.
