with current water conditions is needed and greatly appreciated! Does anyone out there in Galveston have a surf report? While we are at it, how about Surfside too? I am thinking of hitting the surf somewhere near SLP in the am. If not, I'll be hitting the south shoreline of West Bay. I have viewed all the appropriate cams, I just want to hear the water conditions from someone who has laid eyes on it recently. Thanks!

The surf was sandy inshore and the tide was OUT, way out. I fished from the third bar which was the first bar. LOL
Threw tops for about an hour with no takers. There was also a lot of seaweed in small pieces. Just big enough to mess you up, and large mats a couple of 100 yds. out.
The surf was almost waist high at times but not a problem.
IF the wind stays light and more or less onshore, there should be trout riding the incoming tide in the morning.
