Looks like they recovered well from the drought.
menard was actually very wet this year. Wettest summer since my family bought land there in 1982.

Nice bucks Pat. we were out there that weekend too. snow was gorgeous. took a big old heavy 9, but saw shooter bucks every hunt. we are still pig free, for the time being. they have started seeing a few on the section and a half we have at Hext though....

I HAVE HAD THIS PIECE OF PROPERTY FOR 4 YEARS NOW,AND THESE ARE THE FIRST PICTURES OF HOGS. I HAVEN'T SEEN ANY IN PERSON YET,THEY WILL GET A DIRT NAP IF I DO!!!!

i am afraid they are coming. its quite amaxing to me that we have never had any on the main place (on the san saba just east of 10 mile.) But as i said, started seeing a few at hext. A lot of the locals feel that its because they had so much rain this summer, versus other areas of the hill country that were so dry.
