9lb Star Tournament Trout

ken held the leader board last year till 6-28-05.then fred knocked him out. he got 1st runner up, which is nice. could have been like me and the cca/star screws you. good luck KEN and i hope it holds for you. it's hell too take the leader board so soon and have to wait till sept to see if you win.

by the way, last week, my buddy pulled a 12 lb trout of a local hole here in galveston. this hole is the last place you would fish or exspect too have trout in. he's kicking his self in the *** because he's not in the star tour

I know of that hole where the 12 pound trout was caught. I used to fish there when I was a kid. It could have a big fish in it, they cant get out.
My uncle giged a 10 and 1/2 pound floundre in it back in the 70's, no pics just a full belly.
The fish get in there on storm tides and then can only grow. I've seen 30 to 40 lb drum in there dead last summer.

you may be right??? i will never tell. it's full of flounder now. if you know where it's at and are in the star, then you know where you should be fishing.

See special rules for Speckled Trout. No fish taken outside tournament boundaries, from private impoundments or other waters not legally accessible to the general public will be eligible for entry.

it's not private and it's legally accessible by anyone that wants to fish it.

i won with a 77.6 lb ling and that ******* BILL KINNEY stuck it too me. polygraph said i had worked as a guide or deckhand in the past 3 years. polygraphs are read the way the polygrapher inturpet[sp] it.there was 8 other people on the boat when i caught the fish that steped up and would take a polygraph on my behalf at my expence, and ol BILL KINNEY said there was nothing he could do. does that sound fair? hell no! the cca has used the same polygrapher for the last 16 years. thats BS! i could go on and on, but i'm not going too. hope you can pass a polygraph if you ever win it?? i am 43 years old and worked as a deckhand when i was 15. never as a guide. hell, i want to fish when i'm on the water, not take or show nobody nothing.i will never support the cca as long as i live and will encourge my friends and whoever not too also. have a good day,joe's garage
