i ran across this add searching on the web. its a 96 explorer 190tv hull with a 98 140 suzuki. they are asking around $8000. what does everyone think about this deal? if the motor is in good condition is that a pretty good rated motor? any input will help.

Sounds like a decent price to me depending on condition. Here's another similar boat I saw advertised in the Rockport newspaper this morning that also seems like a really good deal.

1996 Explorer

I bought a '96 190 TV from a guy on this site. We took her out yesterday to get used to the boat and see what she could do wuth 4 adults. I am VERY happy with this hull design. We could only top out at 26 MPF according to the GPS with the 88 SPL Johnson wide open, but we got around in the shallow stuff with no problems. So far so good....
