Thanks for the reply. The wahoo came from Ocean Star two miles west of Gunnison, which is five miles on the other side of the Flemish Cap.

Aaah, the Flemish Cap, big fish out thar, big storms too. Hey DEEEP35, were y'all warned at Gunnison to stay 1600 feet out away from the rig? One of our big boats was out there last night and they got the boot. Couldn't get closer than 1600 feet.

Yep, that was me. Figured y'all were coming in from a long trip. We did real well this weekend, Saturday we had 12 blackfin tuna, limit of ajs, limit of snaps, one ling, and released about 25 kings. Sunday, 10 blackfin, limit of ajs, limit of snaps, one 25 lb cow dolphin, about 10 4-8lb schoolies, five kings, and about 30 lbs. of shrimp. Next boat will still be the Easy Come, Easy Go, but I have to find a buyer for this one first!

what kind of power do you have on the contender and how many gallons of fuel will it hold? what is its range in 2 to 3 ft seas? what are you asking for the boat. you can pm me the figures if you like. i think it is getting time to buy a spare so i can fish when i want...rick
