I found a 10 inch hydraulic CMC jackplate for the same price or little less than the 5 1/2" setback.

My question is will I get better performance with the bigger jackplate or hinder it for shifting the weight of the motor too far back.

If you're not familair w/ the BW220, it has a pocket tunnel.
Mine is powered w/ a 150vmax.

Gotta act fast if I am gonna get the 10inch for this price. Thanks for your help.

The 10" is beneficial for heavier boats, by moving a heavy motor 10" back on that hull it will more than likely porpoise pretty bad, i doubt you'd be able to trim it out more than 1/3 of the way.

that's just a guess because i've never done it, but i'm very familiar with that hull, there is no reason to go with the 10"
