Gulf Coast Rods and Billy Stix are having a youth fishing tourn. SAT. sept 23 at Sylvan beach fishing pier. hours are 7am till 1.00

ages 14 and under only.
first 100 kids will get a free tee shirt and a capt. bag full of tackle.
1. biggest fish [any fish] wins a billy stix 6' youth spinning rod
2. second fish [any fish] wins a free gulfcoastrod spincaster model
3. biggest game fish wins a free billy stix 6' youth spinning rod
there are many raffle prizes and give aways.

The main sponsors as of now are:

We would like all kids to be pre registered at [email protected]
so we have an idea of how many are going to make it. The pier is one of the largest in the bay system.
THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE AND PIER FEE'S HAVE BEEN WAIVED.

no fee's

just got off the phone with CAPT. WAYNE. and all pier fee's will be waived.
the big guns have stepped in. ain't life grand.

The fees have not been waived as of yet...The powers that be will look at things Monday morning...I'll know more Monday and keep everyone posted....Capt. Wayne

Hey Monte....Could we make this a sticky?......Update: Free tickets have been donated for 100 kids...Nothing has been decided about the adults who accompany them as of yet, but it is in works...Lots of people to talk to...I'll keep everyone updated.......Capt. Wayne

I'll second that ... it's hard to think of anything more rewarding than getting the next generation hooked on our great sport and passion. Thanks to all the organizers and sponsors for the event. Man, I wish the grandkids lived here!

We tested out a couple of really cool new colors today to put together some packs of lures for all of the kids....some really different stuff from our normal color selection, I think you guys will like them. We should be able to get all of the kids at least a pack or two of lures when they show up at the tournament.

Let me know if you guys come up with anything else that we can do

I have recieved 8 more entries today while i was at work.

AND THE BIG NEWS IS. WE GOT WATER.

M & M bottling has stepped up to the plate and hit a homer with sports water for all the kids. thank you MR. M

NOW i don't want them kiddo's gettin to hot, so i am workin on a tent cover for a little resty shade area.

Update: I talked to Gary at Sylvan Beach Bait and tackle on the air this morning and he said the fees for parents bringing kids would be waived....Thank you Charles and Linda Witt.....Capt. Wayne
