My brother and I took the kids out fishing on 18th St. Pier. Due to the rain, we had the pier all to ourselves. Overall, we caught 4 keeper specks on free-lined live shrimp. All three of the little ones got to feel the thrill of the reel. My brother hooked a big drum or red, but it broke off as he got it close to the pier. It could have been worse. We just had to get out of the house after all the rain.

We fished about 8:30 am to around 1:00 pm or so.

Drove right in front of the end of the pier the other day.That whole area is about 5' deep and flat.Heard you can catch flounder around the pilings.Alittle bit down the road out from the cemetary theres some good humps if you like to wade.
