Little River Band. I love the song. And at the time I was going through a personal life change, so it all fit. And thanks to RD at the first TCD gathering my whole family got nicks and thus became the "Change gang"! Cool, Short, Spare, Pocket, Mood, and Diaper! LOL!

After my first knee replacement I started to walk for exercise. I really got into it and was soon walking/running upto 10 miles a day. 'Course that was the wrong thing to do and I blew that new knee out is about 3 years, but that's another story for another time.

My Brother-in-law came by one day while I was at the track and while he was there I came walking up the sidewalk while he was out getting something out of his truck. He looked up and saw me coming in my walkin' gear with my head phones and personal CD player in a fanny-pack and yelled out..."Walkin' Jack"!

Well, I learned my lesson on the walking thang and I've had this new knew for 7 years now and it's still good but the name stuck. Both my legs could fall off and I'd still, and always be "Walkin' Jack".

I use the name of my boat (24' El Pescador)...and yes, I let my daughters name the boat!
Pescadorable
(I think I can hear the Coast Guard laugh everytime I use the radio...)

My Wife Started This One.....

My wife said we needed to get our own PC and join the 21st Century. I resisted and told her we didn't need to waste our money on a stupid computer.

"It's for our daughter so she can do her reports for school and such" was her reply.

I finally gave in and a friend told me I could learn to surf the wonderful worlwide web if I picked an online service provider. At that time we had only heard of one and that was America Online so we became AOL subscribers.

Well, when you sign up, you have to have a screen name. My wife was doing all this herself because I basically didn't want to have anything to do with this new found "expense". We were tournament Bass fishing at the time so she came up with the screen name "Bassfreeks" to describe the two of us.

Not being an original thinker myself, I used that handle on virtually every messageboard I logged on. I no longer have AOL but the handle just kinda took on a life of its own and folks seem to know me best by this name.

Thats my story and I'm sticking to as MT Stringer would say LOL. Later, Aubrey

GoingCoastal comes from my old GulfCoast boat. One too many times at the car wash all I had left was a G and C of the original boat sticker.
At the time we had a graphics guy doing graphics on our horse trailers and I wanted to do something using the G and C so I came up with Going Coastal.
He made some stickers and Its been on my boat ever since.

My move into modern times was when my buddy sold me his old mac. I had to think of something to use with aol and i came up with Angler2407.....like fishing 24/7? I need to pop a cap into that handle someday. Prolly should've used Angler24X7?

The athletic trainer for PISD started calling me DannyMac yrs ago and it stuck so why not!! Prefer to use my real name and it is a takeoff of my first and last name.

Life if a voyage....

Thus Vjer. I figure the j has a hook and I could catch more fish than with a g...LOL Sounds good huh?...LOL I took the name from the Star Trek movie and misspelled it...Not a trekkie, but liked the name.

Maybe kinda of stupid but I love saltwater and everything about it. And the sensation I get when Im hooked into a fish and the drag is sreaming is irreplaceable. Hints the name Saltwatersensations.

I was told that Biff didnt sound very fish worthy. :D

Biff is my nickname in the RC world, but didnt fit in the fishing world. For awhile I used Flounder Flinger, but I got poked at more with that handle than Biff. So I just used my name.

The girls call me "Flinga" though! :)
