I'm new to Dickinson area. Do any of you use this ramp? Wondering how safe it is, if theft is a problem?

Dickinson Bayou hwy 3 Boat Ramp
I've been using it for decades with no issues. I've heard of some issues second hand, but don't know anyone personally that has had a problem.
Have not heard of anything bad and it is right in view of hwy 3 traffic. And often visited. Not a bad ramp at all
You just need to cautious of trash/debris under the bridge. The last time I was there it had a ton of old rusty nails in the parking area.
Yall may be thinking of hwy 146 overpass ramp right there on the edge of Dickinson Bay. Buddy had his trailer stolen there. Boated back in and just his truck parked there.

I don't know how much experience do you have but muddy shallows next to deep water. go 5mph or use google earth to see the shallows . go back in time to find a low tide. you have a chance to get inspected on land by a sheriff as he is the only officer in area that can write you up for speeding in a car and not having enough flotation. hw3 is much easier and texas city ramp at the end is super easy .
Make sure to trim up when you're loading up... I rounded off all 4 tips on a 4 blade prop there before.
For all the ramps that arn't high traffic ramps... take everything out of your truck that could mean anything to a thief. They don't want the vehicle, they want what they can sell the next day for anything more than $25. Leave the console and glove box open... as soon as they see nothing in them they will leave your vehicle alone... and steal your trailer instead. Just kidding.. I wonder if that guy had his trailer locked?
