Looking for an attractive and well built outdoor firepit to buy. Saw this one but some of the reviews were not good. Anyone have a firepit that looks similar and burns wood that they would recommend?

Bucees sells a good one if you have one near you. I bought mine from amazon.

I bought this one for fires and for cooking. Not as thick as some you will see, but one person can move it. I see now that you want attractive too. Mines not what I'd call attractive, but it burns wood and meat Purdy good.

I bought one from a local outdoor shop here in Victoria that has a 36" cooking grill that is removable. It's very solid, similar to the ones they sell at bucees

Check out Vasbinders on 90 in Richmond. I bought my stick burner there years ago and they have just about anything including fire box's. If they don't have what you want they'll make it.

I bought the one from bucees this past winter. So far so good. Heavy gauge and reasonably priced. About $550.

Best thing you can do is go to your local high school ag shop. Ask them to build you whatever you want, it'll be cheaper and probably better built.

Though not "heavy duty," it suits my needs. I got one similar to this at Home Depot 3 years ago on sale for a little less than $99. The one I bought came with an adjustable cooking grate that I use all summer long out by the pool. Chicken wings, Burgers, dogs, steaks, baked taters and sweet taters, corn on the cob...all taste better over the hardwood fire...
Other than a little rust, works great. Make sure the one you get can breathe around the base and/or bottom. Had to help my neighbor drill a bunch of holes in the solid sides of his so it would burn well.

The HEB near my house sells the All Seasons Feeders fire pits for $299, and recently had them listed for $250. On the All Seasons website they're listed for $350. It's a heavy duty fire pit that will take two grown men to lift. Best fire pit I've found for the money.
