I love to fish Sheldon but missed last summer with a new baby and have gone 4 trips this year without a bite. I was about to give up o Sheldon after the this back luck and the draught, but you guys seem to have at least a little luck. I'm not normally one to ask another to spoon-feed me the fish info, but in this case I could use a tip or two.
I usually use frogs (white, yellow) and flukes in green w/ red flake and black flake, and senkos also in greens mostly, which used to do well there two summers ago. By now I've tried a lot more things though. What have you guys found is working for you? I've tried all over the lake- its not that big, but haven't found any fish.
At least the lake seems to be coming back- lots of baby bass there on my last trip.
I always catch and release and never fish the tourneys, just go for a nice evening with my dog or son sometimes. I think I'll send this pm to the other guy who posted about Sheldon too, you prob know each other.
Thanks!
