I took this Buck at 7:40 AM 11-11-06 in a Montague County hardweed creek bottom. The spread is only 15" but the mass is absolutely incredible. He has 3 broken tines but still is a nice old Buck! He field dressed at 146# on locker plant scales and was hanging off the board touching the ground with 2 feet. I am really happy with this buck in this drought year!

Nice deer congrats.Any cats this year?

I had three different cats in bow range but couldnt draw without getting busted, pulled back on a yote at 15 yds and got busted by him to.
I have not predator hunted this year. I lost a family member 7-8-06 and had a heart attack on 8-23-06. I lost 170 acres of the 270 acres I was hunting. I am just thankful I still have 100 acres to hunt and I am healthy again. I may do some cat hunting around January-Feb. I did notice some cat sign the other day while I was deer hunting.
