I managed to scratch out 3 on Tuesday Nov. 7 with a buddy of mine. We were out close to Eagle Lake. I think the front that came through last Monday night was what drove most the birds out, because they were saying there was plenty of birds out the day before. But had a blast anyway. I am new to waterfowling, and I absolutely love the action. This was my second time hunting, and I have one more trip planned during the second half. The first time I was out last year, we limited out. But of course that was with a guide.
Man, glad you got a few. Sounds almost like a fishing report, "should have been here yesterday we were killing them". This front that just pushed through should bring you some more birds and better luck next time.
NOt bad if you can hit those teal. I always say, "you can't kill any from the couch" and you proved that so it's a good day in my book.
