Wet Sunset

Watching the sun go down, knee deep in the river, with a fish tugging at your pole . . . . . it doesn't get much better than that.

Deep early and top late. The fish must have come up to see the beautiful sunset because they were killing the popper until it was too dark to cast.

A late afternoon visit to the Guadalupe river, near Gruene, was the perfect way to end the day.

Let's go fishing.

My friend tied it for me. It is a Hill Country Crawdad, #6 streamer hook, wrapped with lead wire, bead chain eyes, crawdad dubbing and leg material for antennae. Very effective
