Calais 200a and curado 200dhsv for tops, chronarch 100d7 and curado 50e for everything else. These reels tied for both categories

My Calcutta 100B is my go to for topwaters, rattle traps, and my favorite, 51 MR. It outcasts my oldstyle chronarch 100 and my curado 100.

Might go with the core or possibly the calais. For distance would you go with the core 50 or 100 or would there not be much difference between the two?

Curado BSF. The Calcutta TE and Abu Record are tied right behind it.

My Revos did the same. Casted a mile out of the box. Literally, further than anything i've ever seen. However, they were trash after a few trips and not getting wet.

I use a U.S. reel Supecaster 800. It's a good reel. I haven't had any issues with it.

lol......calais dc is trash? Let me have your trash, no need to clutter up your rod rack. I'll give you some old greenies for them if you want.

I dont like the way a calcutta feels in my hand because of its shape but that is the farthest casting reel I have ever used
