Best Flounder This Summer

What is your biggest flounder THIS YEAR, and what did you catch her on?

I got 19 3/4" at 4lbs. Caught on Gulp White plastic Shrimp.

And for those experienced flounder fishermen, don't the bigger catches come later in the summer?

I put up a pic a few weeks back...21inch flounder caught with a 26inch red and 19inch flounder all in the space of an hour...chickenboy lure strawberry with white tail

24 inch about a month ago on a strawberry and white chicken boy. There are some good ones out there now. I guy at work has hooked about a 26 in. has seen it but not able to land it yet.

21" so far since May. Single hole in the mouth. There are so many factors. Between now and September its all about the same. Late September they'll start Coming out of the deep marshes and staging near back lake and main bays.

We've had 5 over 25 in the last two months. It's been insane. If I could just get my son on one with rod and reel we may have a star winner. The last one was this morning.

We've had several go over 20" this year. Largest so far was back in April at 24". All were gigged by my clients.
This year has been great as far as the quality of flounder being harvested, can't wait until fall!
