The jig is up

Today, after tying some rabbit hair shrimp patterns, I had an idea about also tying a jig with rabbit fur strips. Sometimes, for one reason or another, I can't fly fish and turn to my conventional tackle. Next trip to the bay I will see if a red will take this jig.

That would get hammered in the Guadalupe. Looks pretty crawdaddy to me. What size is it?

It is tied on a size one 1/8 oz. H & H saltwater jig head. Rabbit is very to tie with and has a lot of movement in the water. Hobby Lobby sells rabbit hides and you can dye them if you can not find the color that you need. So far I have used coyote, squirrel, fox and rabbit in some patterns and I like rabbit the best.
