Curado 200E7 Spool Question

Hello Shimano Experts:

I have two Curado 200E7's and they both have "play" in the spool. By this, I mean that I can move the spool side-to-side with my thumb, I think about 1/32", maybe a little more. Is this normal? Thanks, in advance.

Dave.

I just checked the 2 that I have, one had a little play but the other did not. Then I realized that the cast control knob was backed way off on the reel that had some play. Snugged it up a bit and the play was gone. Maybe that's what's going on with yours.

Tightening up the cast control knobs did the trick! Thank you!
