Shimano Saragosa Questions

Looking at picking up a Saragosa 10K. I like the ball handles but wondering if the one on the 8K is a little smaller or the same on the 10K? No schematic for the 10K on the Shimano site to tell if the part numbers are different, or to have a look. Could run to a store but no one nearby has the range of SW reels. Mostly freshwater dealers around me.

I want the 10k for the drag and other differences between the two. But if I could get a handle with a little smaller ball I would prefer it as an option. Not a deal breaker but might pick up an extra handle depending on use, etc. Much like I did with the 300e vs 300ej extra handle.

I can't comment on the 8 or 10 but I have 2 Saragossa 4000's spooled with 20lb braid that I've caught mahi, wahoo, GT's, dog tooth tuna, yft and walu with here in Fiji. I'm beyond shocked the reel hasn't blown up yet. I went through 3 Penn 760 Slammers in 2 days on the same kind of fish. Impressive reels.

Good to know, sounds like good work horses. I'm also looking at the Japanese marke Albrid CI4's Might pick up one of those as well as the Saragosa 10K. I did find after market knobs available that are very nice so Ok there as well If I don't like the stock ones.

The 8000 and 10000 are the same tooling. The 8000 handle will work in the 10000.
