No. I have fished that beach a lot though and know how bad it can get. I have driven it when it was packed like pavement, but seldom have I seen it like that. You can try driving down on a low tide.

I have had my truck stuck and the transmission go out on PINS before. I will never take chances like that again.

its hit or miss just like most beaches... I've seen multiple vehicles stuck in the first 1/2 mile and I've seen it when a 2WD could run to Mitchell's Cut in 30 minutes... on low tide you'll generally have no problem once you make it past the crowds... however, the first several miles can be packed with people playing at the surf's edge so you are forced to drive up higher in the dry stuff and if it is crowded it tends to get pretty torn up and makes for tougher driving. Regardless, a good 4X4 can make it up and down that beach in any conditions short of a storm surge... 2WD not so much on most days

Well, beach was not too bad. But the seaweed was. Nothing was fishable for me on the beach. Had a great time though!! The crowd did loosen up the sand quite a bit. It was fine on entry early in the day, was a little tricky leaving after all the traffic came through.
