Conservation Crossfire/Fisheries Issues A place for everyone interested in fisheries discussion from a regulatory/political standpoint. The laws surrounding fishing and our fisheries are changing, and this is the place to learn about changes on the horizon. Please keep it civil. We can disagree with one another, without becoming disagreeable.

OK Bob

You are going to force me to go back and check the issue myself and Crabtree were discussing. I think it may have been reducing the size of snapper. The fore hire sector (recreational vote) was against that for some reason according to Crabtree. Regarding For hire sector and recreationals sticking together you may be correct (some times). I just think their catch should come from commercial side and not recreationals since it is a for money hire. Thats basically my complaint. But if you believe that a person that is in the business to make money is going to vote along the lines of a real recreational fisherman, Sorry it aint gonna happen..unless it benefits him..thats plain as day.
And what does being CCA members have to do with anything ?? Most everyone is a CCa member.

Charlie
