no pard , not one phone call , Iv gotten a few calls from a few of the other local Guides wanting to know if my unorthodox approach at booking early spring fishing trips was working , LOL

had one of the Captains from one of the local party boats call and volunteer to deck the trip just so he could watch .

even had one Game Warden ask me if i had made my grand yet , i just smiled and asked him if was interested in the bet ,,,,for the purpose of keeping this board G rated , i cant repeat here what he said ... never can tell who reads here

our state waters are 60 ft at the deepest were coming off of a record cold winter and the surface temp is currently about 56 degrees , its tough to even loose a bait to a snapper right now. I put new power on my Contender about two weeks ago and needed to put some hrs on them , so a couple friends and I made some rounds just checked a lot of popular stuff like east and middle bank , , the Jr Lump ,checked several lesser known spots , even one i gave Tom for his newest atlas we named Cowboys rock , and one old wreck that still marks a little bottom change down toward Matagorda , the water is ugly and cold and snapper fishing is a joke at the moment.

im done with it.

Bring on the sunny days and spring break , its a great time for B-Liners , Grouper and Amberjack

Here is my question, if a headboat offered b-liner and lane snapper trips, would yall still have a b!+ch fit. even though a large number of red snapper would be caught and released in the process.

Squidboy they would complain if a headboat offered a blue runner trip. When I first signed on here there were links to every head boat from Galveston to Port A, but ya see MOST on here have forgotten how they were introduced to offshore fishing.

Links are sold here now. If they want one, they can buy one, just like if I want to fish on their boats, I can pay my way. Running a website isn't free and just like everyone else, there are bills to pay here. I was introduced to offshore fishing by my Dad on his boat, by the way.

Cry I want in

Bob can u tell me where I can get 6% red snapper IFQ's at no charge? Last time I checked they were up there with griffie hams. Take you about 10 years to get your investment back. I could use some sources if you have some. Thanks tothebottom
