Help Citica 100 DSV?

I have a well used Citia 100 that I just rebuilt again. I'm noticing some play / wobble in the Drive Shaft Assembly (the shaft the handle attaches to).

I tried adding a small washer between the Drive Shaft Retainer and Idle Gear but it didn't work. Maybe I should replace the Idle Gear and Bushing, any thoughts?

It's going to have a small amount of play new out of the box. If you have an excessive amount of play changing the bushing will help. If it's still bothersome you might have to add a spacer.

There needs to be some play to prevent the reel from binding. Make sure you don't make it too tight if you do decide to shim it.

When you have the reel apart, you should notice some play in the drive shaft. When you put it back together, the clutch bearing should take almost all of the play out of the shaft. If the bushing is really worn, you may get some wobble when it is put back together.
