Who makes it? BSA arn't they the ones who make the Sweet .17?
I bought a bargin scope that has turned out to be a gem. It is made by Center Point. 4X16X40 comes with high rings, mil dot, AO, lit (red and green) tactical turrets that lock into place and once you zero the scope you can move the knobs to a "zero" setting so you can return to zero after clicking in in a long shot. $70 at Wal-Mart...it is clear and has held a perfect zero on hte wifes AR-15 in 7.62X39. On top of all that the glass is very clear! No way as good as $1000 scope, but great for the money.
I shot a nice three shot group (2.5") at 225 yards this past weekend off the bi-pod (no sand bags in rear) in a hard blowing wind.
you might try cabales theres a scope with there name pineridge its a better looking scope
