I did not remember Daisy ever making a .22 rimfire rifle, but obviously they did about 20 years ago. I found one at a gunshow two weeks ago and had to bring it home with me. The gun looks very much like a pellet gun, but is actually .22 long rifle. It is mostly plastic and has an octagon barrel. The magazine is rotary, similar to the Ruger 10/22. It has a button on the stock that allows the length to be adjusted so that an adult can shoot the gun with the kids. I think it's a pretty neat find.
I got a Daisy .22 as my first rifle also except with the brown stock. It lasted awhile but the darn stock was cheap plastic and ended up braking after a good 5 year run with it.
Yep, very nice gun i have one Daisy 1st rimfire rifles model 8 single shot made in 1978 the whole gun is 32 inches long and still works great.
