This took us about 5min this morning. This is the 1st time I have jacked with these birds, they are some stinky bastards. Any tips on how to cookem?? I will filet them out and bleedem in ice water before I try anything with them. Thanx
I'm not as crazy about them as some but I do like them. You can fillet the breast into strips, tenderize and chicken fry, they are good like that. My in-laws up in the panhandle put the whole breasts into one of those seasoned cook-in-bag deals that you use for a roast, that's ok too. Lots of people make fajitas with them, I have and that's good too.
Great hunt I might add. I don't recall them stinking though. I would like to get in on some of that again someday. I haven't been back up north for 10 years.
crane k-bobs, chic-fry, and everything is good wrapped in bacon. Had ours in 5 min today too. I like to soak them in soy and Italian when I make the k-bobs. Eat them rare to med rare.
Fillets with a quick trip on the coals. Any marinade or worstcheshire, terriyaki, olive oil and Montreal Steak seasoning. Do them rare and you'll see why they are called Rib Eye from the sky.
They taste horrible... still I would not want them to go to waste... I'll swing by and take them all off your hands. When and where would you like to meet?
By the way, I'll have a case of your favorite beer to swap.
